I offer this software ONLY because monitor test patterns are critical 
tools for properly adjusting the front-panel controls of your monitor. 
A properly adjusted monitor is not just a precaution against eye-strain,
but necessary in order to view software as the programmer intended!

The DMU_Demo program is a FREE demonstration of the Display Mate 
Utilities for DOS.  The actual utilities (still being sold) are very 
comprehensive.  As monitor setup utilities for DOS of any kind are 
difficult to locate, I am reluctantly offering this demo software to 
at least give you something to use to adjust your monitor.  

Pressing the F2 key gives some basic test patterns that will help you 
to set your monitors contrast, brightness, and (640x480) size/position 
front-panel controls.
